So many wonderful items are available for purchase throughout the course of the year.

Home & School points are available for events marked with the ‘points’ star points .



Stocking Stuffer/Cookie Walk Eventpoints – Held in the winter, This event is usually the first Saturday of December.  This is a LARGE event an would be best chaired by more than one individual.  The chairs are responsible for craft vendors, bucket raffle, concessions, cookie walk, Santa, and setting up a work schedule for volunteers. SCRIP  points – St. Mary Parish runs a SCRIP program (gift certificates for various businesses can be purchased & we get a percentage of each sale, which varies by business).  Only volunteers are allowed to sell SCRIP.  SCRIP is usually sold after masses  by parishioners, and we also try to have a school parent sell after school at least one day/week (typically Thursdays).  The more we can help the parish to sell, the more profit they will share with Home & School.


pointdFamily Fun Nights -   Family fun Nights are designed to provide a social gathering for school families and also promote/market our school to non-school families.  Anyone is welcome to attend these events.  The chair is responsible for planning games, entertainment, snacks, possible prizes or giveaways, and creating a work schedule for volunteers to help with food, games, etc. that correlate with a theme.  These tentative dates/themes have been set for the 2017-2018 school year:

October 27 – Halloween Party    January 26 – Theme TBD     April 6 – Theme TBD

Pointsettia Sale points – A variety of pointsettia plants are sold in late November for an early December delivery. Earn H&S points for each item sold. This event is need of a chair.

Candy Sale points – Held in the spring, a variety of Seroogy’s Candy and Vande Walles candy bars are offered for sale. Points earned equal half the dollar amount you sell.  This event is in need of a chair.


Time and Talent Drawing, Breakfast and Bake Sale points – Held in the spring, dozens of items are donated by the School, Parish and Community – from get-aways to baked goods. Funds are raised by chances sold for each item along with a delicious breakfast and bake sale. Event Chair: Alison DeMeuse

Water For Sale – The Eighth grade class sells bottled water for $1 each in their classroom to raise funds for their class trip.

Basketball Games and Concession Stand – Come cheer for your favorite team! Ticket sales from the door support the Booster Club while the Eighth grade class earns money from concession stand sales.

Winterfest points – This fun filled family event takes place in late January or early February. Buy raffle tickets, eat dinner, win a cake, play games with the kids or bid on your favorite items. Event Chair: Jan Guilette

Home and School Trout Boil – Held in late winter/early spring, usually on a Friday evening during Lent in the school cafeteria. Enjoy the wonderful food and great company. Event Chair: Jackie Kaminski

Spring Flower Sale points – Ten inch hanging flower baskets and gift certificates are offered for sale just in time for Mother’s Day! This event is in need of a Chair:

Wheelathon – Students get sponsors and bike, pedal and push their scooters around the neighborhood in the Spring and raise fund for the school while doing it!
